Kinglists
For large sections of ancient Egyptian history, we are
remarkably well informed about the names of the kings that once ruled
this land, as well as their order. The kinglists are now the backbone of
this history.
(F or more details about the spelling of ancient
Egyptian names, see the section of
Miscellaneous.)
(For matters of Chronology, see the sections
of
Introduction to Ancient Egypt,
and
About Egyptology.)
